  1. Who doesn’t like to shop?  I love it.  I especially like getting a bargain.  As a retired flight attendant my co-workers probably remember me best for two outstanding characteristics:  I could always fall asleep on the airplane during my breaks and I love to bargain shop.  I’ll cover the sleeping later; let’s go on to the shopping now.

I think one of the criteria for being a flight attendant is the ability to shop for the best bargains around the world.  We have a covert shopping network with the goal being – find the best shop in whatever city you are in as well as the best price for whatever article is being purchased.  We tended to get very competitive about the prices. Frequently when we would gather for the debriefing if it was found out that someone got a better “deal” for something, we would all become more determined to next time be the one with the best price for any given purchased item.

I became astute at finding the bargains.  My flying took me to Beijing, China where I soon discovered the pearl market.  God called and I followed.  He said, “Take this pearl jewelry to the United States and it will sell.”  I had found my calling - pearls for the world. I formed a close bond with a family in China that assembles my “finds” and then I bring them to you on Pamspearls.net.  In most cases they still sell them to me for the original price from 10 years ago.  What a bargain for me that I am delighted to pass on to you.

  2. Hi!  This is my first venture into the blogosphere of the 21st century.  I'm excited about sharing my extensive knowledge about pearls with anyone who has a question.  Pearls are a natural gift from God and the way you can tell if they are real is to place one between your teeth and gently bite down.  It should feel gritty similar to fingernails on a chalkboard.  If in doubt compare it to a plastic bead or a fake pearl (which would be perfectly round and perfectly smooth to the touch).  If pearls are your thing, please check out PamsPearls.net.
